A man takes his wife and teenage children on a trip down memory lane as he copes with divorce. Florent Bernard’s own parents separated when he was a teenager (like the children in the film), which didn’t bother him or his brother much, as many of their friends already had divorced parents. So Bernard and his brother told their parents that it was their problem, and their father took it the wrong way, thinking they didn’t care. During the breakfast scene at the beginning of the film, Sandrine’s children are looking at their bowl of cereal in front of them in one scene, and suddenly at their mother, located off to the side, in the next scene.
